During the Bama Liatoppen Biathlon Festival, there will be a joint ski waxing session for all skis in the categories:
Boys and Girls 15 and 16 years old.
The waxing will be handled by Sporten Beitostølen in 2025.
All skis must be submitted pre-cleaned, scraped, and brushed, and the organizer will transport the skis to the start line after they are waxed by Sporten Beitostølen.

Sporten Beitostølen offers to grind skis for athletes who wish to have this done. Those submitting skis must inform the staff if they would like a grind when submitting the skis. For those who are unsure about what type of grind will likely be used, they can ask when submitting the skis.
Here is what will be done to the skis:
All skis must be submitted pre-cleaned, scraped, and brushed.
All skis will be washed with ski/fluorine cleaner, then wiped with a cloth and gold brush.
After approximately 10 minutes of drying, the skis will be brushed with a micro steel brush.
The appropriate glide product (based on test results) will be applied with a rotary wool pad.
The skis will be polished before they are ready for the start line.
The skis will not be treated with heat by Sporten Beitostølen.

After the skis are submitted each day, Sporten Beitostølen will perform the tasks described above, and the organizer will transport the skis to the start line.
